 Current projects
« Thread Started on Mar 12, 2007, 9:27am »

Instead of having a bunch of topics to begin with, I will post my current projects this way.

I have about 6 socks going, 2 hats and a baby sweater. Anyone else care to admit what they have in the works?

I'm usually too embarrassed to admit to my husband how many projects I have going at once. Right now I have a cardigan sweater that I finished the pieces and have to put them together, a poncho that I keep getting bored with and setting it aside, a lacy top, and a vest (that's what I've actually been putting time on lately). I also have a ruana shawl that is actually finished (and I'm wearing it), but I have been planning on adding some pockets to it.

Aimee,
I decided I had to get it to something managable or my husband might faint. I managed to get down to two pairs of socks on needles and the toddler sweater at the moment. I'm just not that excited about the sweater. I am hoping to find some fabulous sock yarn and start more. Guess I'm not really making progress at all.

Hello everyone. I'd like to post a picture of my Molly Weasley sweater. Just finished it today. Sewed on the last lampwork button - not wonderful buttons, but the best I could do. The button holes were very small. Be kind, this is the 3rd try at a Weasley sweater, and the first knitting I've done in a very very very long time.

oh, I don't know how to post pics. I'll post links.

Adding: This sweater is short, comes to barely the waist (next one will be longer, but this one WILL fit my daughter), it's sort of stretched out, it fits close to the body. The sleeves are inspired by Mary Weasley sweater of Harry Potter movies and are, of course, crocheted.
